It requires effective communication skills for social and commercial institutions to attract consumers’ and stakeholders’ attention and interest in today’s world; the new technologies play an important role in people’s lives, competition becomes more fierce, and the communication media evolve and diversify. Consequently, there is an increasing need for competent professional individuals in advertising, public relations and other fields of communication.

İstanbul Bilgi University School of Advanced Vocational Studies Public Relations and Advertising Program, by providing a comprehensive and contemporary education, is designed to equip students with a solid understanding of the theories of marketing, advertising, and public relations; the skills to strategically use new communication technologies; and the capability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations. The objective of the program is to graduate well-educated, innovative and successful communicators with advanced skills in critical thinking and teamwork, as well as proficiency in foreign languages, in this intensely competitive global and local environment.
