Simge Hough was born in Ankara in 1978. Gained BA in Industrial Design and minor degree in Psychology at Middle East Technical University and completed MA studies in Visual Communication Design at Istanbul Bilgi University. Worked as a research assistant and lecturer at Bahcesehir University Istanbul and as a visiting lecturer at Kyungsung University in Busan. Completed her PhD thesis on design education in Industrial Product Design programme at Istanbul Technical University. Currently finishing a post-doc research entitled ‘Design Thinking in Turkey’ at the Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton.
