CEA Accreditation

The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA)

Pursuant to the accreditation decision that was granted by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) to the İstanbul Bilgi University English Preparatory Program for 5 years in 2015, the Program was re-accredited for the period of August 2021 to August 2031 and the Program has once again pledged to abide by the English Language Programs and Institutions and CEA Standards. Besides being the only accrediting institution that is recognized by both the United States Secretary of Education and the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA) in the field of the accreditation of English language teaching institutes and programs, CEA is also one of the most comprehensive accreditors in the field of English language education.

Didem Mutçalıoğlu, the director of the BİLGİ English Language Program, had this to say about the recognition: “The CEA accreditation is a very important quality certificate that shows that BİLGİ has surpassed the expectations for language education in Turkey. This accreditation not only confirms the quality of education on offer but provides the opportunity for continuous development and sustainability.  We are extremely honored to have the education we have on offer in our English Preparatory Program recognized by one of the most competent institutions in the field.  With this accreditation, we also promise that we will continue to offer BİLGİ students the highest standard of quality education.”
