European Commission’s Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence Program Support for the project titled ‘RESAID: Creating Societal Cognitive Resilience Against Information Disorders’

Prof. Emre Erdoğan was entitled to receive the support by European Commission’s Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence Program for the project titled ‘RESAID: Creating Societal Cognitive Resilience Against Information Disorders’. In the Project, Prof. Pınar Uyan Semerci, Mehmet Ali Tuğtan, PhD, and Tuğçe Erçetin, PhD will work as researchers. RESAID project aims to support the efforts of EU, partner countries, and NATO in identifying, analyzing, and reducing foreign information manipulation and intervention operations. RESAID project also aims to identify the false narratives, debunk misinformation, reduce the spreading of false narratives, and increase cognitive resilience by means of educational tools such as short viral videos, online games, massive open online courses (MOOCs), workshops, trainings, and publications. The project will provide a consistent framework for the EU policies and measures regarding information disorders, and expand the perspectives of academics, policy-makers, and experts working on information disorders at different levels by including them in the project.
