Yasemin Soylu received her B.Sc. in engineering and PhD in design from Istanbul Technical University and an MBA from Koç University. Upon graduation, she worked for international and multinational companies for more than a decade in new product development and marketing . In 2013, Soylu acted as the founding director of Design Foundation Istanbul. Since May 2015, she works as a full time faculty member. She specializes in user research and design management. Her current research interests focus on circular design, sustainability and crafts.
