Faculty of Health Sciences

New health fields have emerged in recent times, in order to meet the needs arising in parallel with the increase in health-related information and technology, and health awareness and literacy. Higher education institutions have established departments that will train future professionals in these fields. Faculties in health sciences are some of the most demanding higher education institutions, and the support they provide to both existing and future health staff serves an important function in society.
As the youngest faculty in İstanbul Bilgi University, the main purpose of the Faculty of Health Sciences is to educate effective and successful professional people who adopt values and principles in line with the vision and mission of BİLGİ, and who have achieved our institutional learning outcomes.
Faculty of Health Sciences, within the framework of aiming to become a modern faculty that will have a say in development of health policies in our country, includes the following departments: Nutrition and Dietetics, Child Development, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, Perfusion, Health Management.
In line with our goal of lifelong learning, we educate students in a respectful environment with our strong academic and administrative staff, who continuously support professional and personal development of our students by providing both applied learning in health and related sectors, and theoretical education, with a student-centered education and teaching philosophy.
Students in our faculty also benefit from being part of İstanbul Bilgi University, which has more than twenty years of experience, by participating in a myriad of activities in arts and culture, realizing social responsibility projects, and taking active parts in sports festivals and student communities in our university.
