The United States’ competitive sports structure differs from most of the other countries. Dr. Robinson will explain the market forces that drive competitive sports in the United States as well as the revenue generation models for the different levels beginning at the grassroot, through intercollegiate athletics, professional sports and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. He will present the positive and negative aspects of this structure in comparison to the structures that are more common globally.
