BİLGİ Alumna Dilge Arslancan came in fourth in the “New Kitchen Rituals” competition

Dilge Arslancan, BİLGİ Industrial Design Department 2020 alumna’s project won the fourth place in the “ New Kitchen Rituals” competition, led by ALESSI and Domus Academy Milano. She was rewarded with a %20scholarship for the Product Design Master program at Domus Academy Milano. 

The competitive international contest had the following brief; We live in a historic moment when our daily lives are constantly changing; new lifestyles and social behaviors are blended, blurred and modified at heightened rhythm. Within this context, there is increased importance attributed to routine and simple pleasures of living centered on the home. The aim is to design an innovative and engaging kitchen utensil around the new cooking experience for Alessi. The brand has a strong visual identity and is an excellent example of Italian design culture: this aspect must be considered within the design proposal.
