Within the scope of our academic collaboration with Arizona State University, the Dean of Social Sciences at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in ASU Prof. Pardis Mahdavi and the Dean of our Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Prof. Pınar Uyan Semerci will have a seminar on our santralistanbul Campus under the title ‘Reflections of a Transborder Anthropologist.’ Mahdavi and Semerci will discuss how reflexivity and positionality are integral methodological assets by drawing on their own research. The seminar will be held in English with no translation into Turkish.
