Double Major Alumnus in Film and Law Departments Selman Nacar received CineLink Project Development Award for his new film Hesitation WoundHesitation Wound, the second feature-length film of the director, will be produced by BİLGİ Department of Film Alumnus Burak Çevik and Diloy Gülün.

Co-produced by Turkey, France, and Romania, Hesitation Wound focuses on an idealist criminal lawyer Nesrin’s moral choices affecting her personal and professional life in the framework of the events that revolve around a trial covering less than 24 hours. The film takes place on the day of the final hearing of a murder suspect that Nesrin has been defending for a long time and believes to be innocent and addresses the confrontation of the lawyer with her conscience and her being stuck between law and sense of justice.

The film was entitled to receive financial support for its completion and distribution by being chosen to ‘CineLink Work in Progress’ as part of Sarajevo Film Festival. A total of 12 films, 10 fiction films and 2 documentaries, has been chosen to CineLink Work in Progress from Southeast Europe, Middle East, and North Africa.
