‘Aniden’ scripted by BİLGİ Department of Film faculty member Prof. Feride Çiçekoğlu and Melisa Önel, and directed by Önel receives its world premiere in one of the leading film festivals, 35th Tokyo International Film Festival. Competing in ‘Asian Future’ section, the film meets with the audience for the first time in Tokyo between October 24-November 2.
Starring Defne Kayalar, Öner Erkan, Şerif Erol, Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu, the film was shot as a co-production of Turkey-Germany-Serbia. The film tells the story of Reyhan who loses her sense of smell and her journey that she embarks on in İstanbul to reconnect with life and to look for her past.
