BİLGİ Faculty of Law faculty member Prof. Yaman Akdeniz received Annual Human Rights Award for 2022 granted by Embassy of Canada. Akdeniz was granted the award, which has been given since 2018, for his extraordinary contributions in promoting freedom of expression and human rights law in Türkiye.
Akdeniz was presented with the award by Embassy of Canada in the event organized for the 74th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations.
