Public Announcement: İstanbul Bilgi University Continues Its Educational Activities Without Interruption

Following the revocation of the decision regarding the withdrawal of our University’s operating license, our University continues its educational activities uninterruptedly with its existing academic and institutional structure. 

In line with the decision taken under the discretion of our President of the Republic, priority has been given to safeguarding our students’ right to education, ensuring the rights and working conditions of our academic and administrative staff, meeting the expectations of our families, and upholding the public interest; accordingly, it has been decided that our University will continue its operations within its current structure.

In this context, our state-appointed Board of Trustees has resumed its duties. The academic and administrative processes of our University continue to function as planned. Our Rectorate and all relevant units are working continuously to ensure that our students’ educational processes proceed without interruption.

There has been no change to the academic calendar, which remains one of the primary concerns of our students. The 2025–2026 Academic Year Spring Semester final examinations will be held as previously announced, between 8–20 June 2026. Our scientific research, academic studies, student club activities, as well as our social and cultural events, are also continuing as planned.

Today, a comprehensive evaluation meeting was held with the participation of our Board of Trustees and the senior academic and administrative leadership of our University, during which process management, coordination, and the roadmap for the upcoming period were discussed.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year in its educational journey guided by the motto “Learning not for school, but for life,” our University will continue to advance its education, research, and scientific activities more strongly through its institutional experience and academic heritage.

We sincerely wish our students, academic and administrative staff, and families to focus on the future with confidence and peace of mind, and we thank them for the trust, composure, and institutional commitment they have demonstrated throughout this process.
