The MINARET Project: Sociology of Post-Imperial Islamic Legal Cultures, Led by Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kaya, Receives Support Under the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks Programme
The project titled “MINARET: The Sociology of Post-Imperial Islamic Legal Cultures: Insights from Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia”, submitted under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kaya from the Department of International Relations at our Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, has been awarded funding within the framework of Horizon Europe – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks.
Within the scope of the project, a comprehensive Doctoral Network programme will be implemented to train a new generation of scholars equipped with the skills to analyse the interrelations between law, religion, and governance in post-imperial Muslim-majority societies.
