Graduation Ceremonies 2026

The Graduation Ceremonies for the 2025–2026 Academic Year are planned to be held:

• For associate and undergraduate degree programs, between 16–20 July 2026,
• For graduate programs, on 26 September 2026.

Ceremony Participation

The following students will be eligible to participate in the 2025–2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremonies:

• All undergraduate students who have attained graduate status,
• Undergraduate students in their 7th and 8th semesters who have completed their academic registration for the last two semesters,
• Associate degree students in their 3rd and 4th semesters who have completed their academic registration for the last two semesters.

Students enrolled in a double major program may participate in the graduation ceremonies of both programs from which they graduate.

For graduate programs, only students who have attained graduate status will be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Cap and Gown Request

Candidates wishing to participate in the graduation ceremony must complete their “Gown Request” application through the “Flow Applications” section under “Other Links” in the left-hand menu of the SIS Student Page between 23 June and 10 July 2026.

The application period will end on Friday, 10 July 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Please note that during the graduation ceremonies, the names of associate, undergraduate, and graduate degree candidates will be announced only if they have requested and collected their cap and gown through the system. Participation in the ceremony using another student's gown without submitting a cap and gown request will not be permitted.

In order for your name to be included in the ceremony list, you must complete your application through the system within the specified dates and collect your cap and gown.

Please note that the system will close at 4:00 p.m. on 10 July 2026. Therefore, no cap and gown requests, payments, or collection procedures will be accepted after this date and time.

Cap and gown applications and payments must be completed online; in-person applications or payments will not be accepted.

Associate and Undergraduate Cap & Gown Distribution and Return Procedures

Distribution Period: 23 June – 10 July 2026 Location: Incubation Center, santralistanbul Campus

The cap and gown fee for 2026 is TRY 2,500. Graduates who complete their payment may collect their cap and gown between 23 June and 10 July 2026, on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Incubation Center on the santralistanbul Campus.

Distribution will not take place on weekends, public holidays, or on the days when graduation ceremonies are held.

For graduates who choose the gown rental option, the refundable deposit of TRY 1,250 will be transferred to the IBAN account provided during the application process after the gown has been returned.

Following the graduation ceremony, gowns may be returned on the same day at the Incubation Center on the santralistanbul Campus until 9:30 p.m.

The final deadline for gown returns is Friday, 21 August 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Gowns returned after this date and time will not be accepted.
