Our Faculty Members Achieve Major Success in the COST Program, One of Europe’s Most Prestigious Research Networks
The results of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) 2025 Open Call have been announced, and our university has achieved another significant milestone in international research collaboration.
Out of 1,090 Action proposals submitted from across Europe, only 80 were selected for funding. In this highly competitive process, with an overall success rate of approximately 7%, two COST Actions will be launched under the leadership of our faculty members from of Social Sciences and Humanities members, Prof. Pınar Uyan Semerci and Assoc. Prof. Gülay Uğur Göksel, as Main Proposers.
We are delighted to share the visionary projects through which our faculty members will lead extensive interdisciplinary research networks across Europe:
CA25169 – Justice, Arts, Memory, Migration: Creating Solidarities across Borders
Main Proposer: Assoc. Prof. Gülay Uğur Göksel
A sustainable European network will be established among academics, artists, and cultural practitioners, focusing on the impact of arts-based research in the fields of migration, cultural heritage, and justice.
CA25176 – Child Voices: Participation, Well-being & Resilience of Children in the Era of Polycrisis
