Institute of Graduate Programs Graduation Ceremony 2026

The 2025–2026 Institute of Graduate Programs Graduation Ceremony is planned to be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Ceremony Attendance

Only students who have officially attained graduate status in their graduate programs will be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Cap and Gown Request

Graduates wishing to attend the ceremony must submit their Cap and Gown Request through the "Flow Applications" section under "Other Links" in the left-hand menu of the SIS Student Page by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Only the names of graduates who have requested and collected their cap and gown through the system will be announced during the ceremony. Participation with someone else's gown or a gown obtained in previous years will not be permitted. To ensure that your name appears on the ceremony list, you must submit your request through the system and collect your cap and gown within the specified period.

Please note that the system will close after 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, and no further cap and gown requests or transactions will be accepted.

Cap and gown applications and payments must be completed online only. Applications or payments will not be accepted in person.

Graduate Programs Cap and Gown Distribution and Return

The 2026 cap and gown fee is TRY 2,500.

Graduates who complete both their application and payment may collect their cap and gown between August 25 and September 21, 2026, on weekdays between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., only from the Incubation Center at santralistanbul Campus.

Cap and gown distribution will not take place on weekends, public holidays, or on the day of the commencement ceremony.

Graduates who choose the rental option will receive a refund of TRY 1,250 to the IBAN account provided during the application process after returning their gown.

Following the ceremony, gowns may be returned at the Incubation Center, santralistanbul Campus, until 4:00 p.m. on the day of the ceremony.

After the ceremony, gowns may also be returned to the Student Support Center until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026. Gowns returned after this deadline will not be accepted.

Ceremony Schedule

There will be no rehearsal prior to the Institute of Graduate Programs Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Graduates are required to arrive one hour before the ceremony and gather in the open area in front of the Student Support Center Building at santralistanbul Campus.
