Our alumna Güzin Müjde Karakaşlı wins the Three-Cushion Billiards World Championship

Our alumna Güzin Müjde Karakaşlı, a graduate of the Faculty of Law and the Master’s Program in Economic Law, became world champion at the Women’s Three-Cushion Billiards World Championship held in France on September 15–17, 2026.

Karakaşlı defeated Dutch player Karina Jetten 30–18 in the final to claim the world championship title and bring home a gold medal for Türkiye.

A three-time consecutive Turkish champion with notable achievements on the international stage, our alumna Güzin Müjde Karakaşlı continues to make us proud. We congratulate her on this outstanding achievement and wish her continued success.
