Tuğrul Yazar graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Yıldız Technical University in 2001. He received his master's degree in 2003 and his Ph.D. in 2009 from the Computational Design in Architecture program at the same university. With research and publications in architectural education and computational design, Tuğrul Yazar has been teaching Architectural Geometry, Design Computing, Design Mathematics, and Parametric Modeling at the Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Architecture since 2011. Earning the titles of associate professor in 2016 and professor in 2021, Yazar has served as a coordinator and researcher on scientific research projects at TÜBİTAK, YTU, and IBU, and has published articles, proceedings, and peer reviews on architectural geometry, computational design, architectural robotics, and architectural education. In addition to his academic studies, Yazar provides consultancy for architectural projects, conducts workshops, and his works are exhibited in various exhibitions and biennials.
