The event is organized with the support of Young ISTAC (Istanbul Arbitration Centre), ICC YAF (International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitrators Forum) and Paksoy. BİLGİ Faculty of Law proudly invites all teams to participate in the 11th Istanbul pre-moot.

Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (“Vis Moot") is an organization which fosters the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution of international business disputes through its application to a concrete problem of a client. This provides a unique training for law leaders of tomorrow in methods of alternative dispute resolution. 29th Vis Moot will be held this year virtually, instead of in Vienna. Prior to the Vis Moot various law schools and law firms organize national and international preliminary studies (“pre-moot”) for the purpose of preparing students in the best way for the Vis Moot. BİLGİ Faculty of Law is renowned for taking the lead for the Turkish universities for the past years. After organizing the Istanbul Pre-Moot as a national pre-moot for nine years, BİLGİ Faculty of Law has been organizing the Istanbul Pre-Moot as an international pre-moot for the last two years.

This year, we proudly invite all Turkish and international teams to participate in the 11th Istanbul Pre-Moot. As arbitrators, we will welcome many distinguished scholars and arbitration practitioners as well as a variety of teams from all around the world.
