Founded in 1963 by Peter Schumann in New York and continuing its performances in Vermont, Bread and Puppet Theatre noted for their giant puppets and masks made out of papier-mâché and cardboards, and for their street shows and performances will deliver their first performance as part of the 17th Istanbul Biennial organized by IKSV on our University’s santralistanbul Campus on September 14, 2022.
Continuing their workshop activities that are performed in collaboration with our University’s Faculty of Communication’s Management of Performing Arts Program on our santralistanbul Campus, the company has designed giant puppets and choreography by upcycling the waste materials on our campuses with volunteers for three weeks.
