The conference titled “Private Enforcement of Turkish Competition Law: Problems and Suggestions for Solutions,” will be held in cooperation with the Competition Authority, Competition Journal and İstanbul Bilgi University Competition Law and Policy Research Center on June 17, 2011. The Conference aims to foster the private enforcement of competition law which is underdeveloped at the current practice. To that end, particular problems hindering private enforcement such as damage calculation, standard of proof, limitation period for follow on suits, standing and indirect purchaser rule will be discussed.
