The main goal of Cultures@Play Game Jam is to explore and express the value of intercultural collaboration in combination with multidisciplinary design. Three teams, composed of students from Istanbul Bilgi University Music Department, the Utrecht School of the Arts- the Faculty of Art, Media & Technology (The Netherlands) and ODTU Game Technologies Master Program (Turkey), will each be an exciting mix of the disciplines of Game Design, Interaction Design and Music Technology. Each team will be supervised by a representative from the respected institutions. A Dutch game journalist will accompany the students to do a live report of the event via a variety of media.

The game prototypes, including a post-mortem, will be presented on December 18, Sunday (3:00-5:00 p.m.) at Santral Campus (E4-305) to a small crowd of invitees immediately after the 48 hour game jam, after which there is time for playing the games, drinks, relaxation and reflection.
