To raise support for the continuation of the activities of Tarlabaşı Community Center, a concert is organized with the participation of the honorable musicians and music groups Vedat Sakman, Aysu Çöğür, Cümbüş Cemaat, Tatavla Keyfi and Alatav.

About the Center:
Tarlabaşı Community Center, developed as a project by İstanbul Bilgi University Center for Migration Research, started its activities in Tarlabaşı neighborhood of Beyoğlu-İstanbul in September 2006. Aiming at working with all residents of Tarlabaşı, Tarlabaşı Community Center especially runs support activities for the group of women, children and youth, who have been the most disadvantaged and vulnerable in the struggle with problems resulting from migration and poverty. After the finalization of two terms of the European Union projects, since 2007 the Center operates through funds raised and projects run by Tarlabaşı Community Support Association. Our search for local funds to sustain the activities and attain long lasting impact continues. In the last six years since its establishment, Tarlabaşı Community Center has provided services to more than 5,000 children and adults.
