İstanbul Bilgi University Center for Migration Research in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Turkey is organizing a one-day conference on social reflections and perceptions of international migration in Turkey. The conference will focus on the perceptions of different types of immigrants in the fields of education, health, daily life, market, and media in Turkey. By scrutinizing how international migrants are ‘discussed’, ‘seen’, ‘get in touch with’ and ‘accepted’ in society, the two main aims of the conference are to contribute to production and sharing of knowledge, and to create public awareness.

You can find a draft program of the conference attached. We will inform you later with updated news. Conference language is Turkish and English with simultaneous translation available. For registration and further information: migcentre@bilgi.edu.tr or 0212 311 53 50.
