Startup Weekend BİLGİ

Startup Weekend which is one of the world’s leading entrepreneurship events will be held on October 21-22-23 in İstanbul Bilgi University.

The project team must consist of at least one BİLGİ student or graduate(alumni) to attend the event. Throughout the weekend, the participants will launch their startups with their teams while collaborating with other passionate individuals. Participants will also have the chance to spend invaluable one-on-one time with the mentors. At the end of the event participants will not only be integrated with their local community but also they will be a part of an ever-growing global startup community.

Startup Weekend BİLGİ is organized by İstanbul Bilgi University, Viveka and Mentors Network Turkey collaboration. The event is coordinated by BİLGİ Industrial Engineering and Operations Research Club and Entrepreneurs Club of BİLGİ.

The event will start on Friday, 21 October with presentations of participants’ ideas. After that 4-people teams will be formed around chosen ideas. During 54 hours, teams will launch their startups with the support of mentors. On Sunday, 23 October teams will make presentations in front of the jury.

The event will come to an end after the distribution of Participation and Achievement Certificates.
