Speaker: Prof. Dr. Selime Sezgin

Date: November 12, 2019

Time: 19.00

Place: santralistanbul Campus, E1-301

Product management is a gamut of both product development and product marketing. Helps to focus the product promotion in the market if the product is new or even develop the strategies of an existing product. The end decision of a product’s success is being decided by the end user only. Most notably, product management is linking the development team on the one side and marketing, sales and customer success teams on the other side, while ensuring the process is aligned with the business vision.

In other words, product management is supposed to translate business objectives into engineering requirements and vice versa, explain the product functionalities and limitations to the commercial teams who are responsible for marketing, sales, and customer communication.
