According to The Impact Rankings 2021, which is based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, BİLGİ has been ranked among the top 9 universities participating from Turkey and 3rd among foundation universities.

BİLGİ placed in the 101-200 range among universities worldwide in the “Gender Equality”, “Decent Work and Economic Growth” and “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions” fields and received a full score of 100 for its efforts towards the teaching of Sustainable Development Goals.

Assessing the social, economic and environmental practices of higher education institutions all around the world, the ranking by Times Higher Education (THE), a UK-based higher education rating agency, reveals the contributions to the world of higher education institutions in terms of sustainability. In 2020, 768 higher education institutions participated in the worldwide ranking and in 2021 this number increased to 1115.

We are pleased that BİLGİ’s efforts towards reinforcing and extending the values of “gender equality”, “peace”, “justice”, “institutionalization”, “decent work” and “sustainable growth”, which have been priorities of BİLGİ since its foundation, have been recognized by an international independent ranking agency. BİLGİ will continue to strengthen its efforts to realize the Sustainable Development Goals.
