Aleyna Çiftçi and Can Çobanoğlu’s project titled ‘As a Public Infrastructure: Urban Campus’ prepared in coordination with Department of Architecture Faculty Members Eren Çıracı and Bulut Cebeci during the spring semester of 2019-2020 Academic Year became one of the 12 projects that the competititon jury awarded with a prize among 330 applications.

One of the long-running and important award programs in the context of architectural education, Archiprix aims to increase the competition between different educational institutions adopting different methods and approaches, to see the variety of studied project subjects, to improve the architectural discussion environment, and thereby to enhance the quality of architectural education at the national level. Our alumni Aleyna Çiftci and Can Çobanoğlu made a speech with Eren Çıracı representing the project coordinators and Department Head Deniz Çalış Kural in the award ceremony and dedicated their award to their instructor Yavuz Sezer, who passed away this year.
