The CEA (The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation) accreditation, which BİLGİ English Language Preparatory Program first obtained in 2015 and which is the most prestigious document of qualification for English language education, has been extended till August 2031.

After the first accreditation duration of BİLGİ English Language Preparatory Program expired, the self-assessment report has been reviewed by the CEA Commission and an online field visit was carried out. As a result of the Commission’s reviewing process, it has been determined that BİLGİ English Language Preparatory Program meets all of the 44 standards specified under 11 titles from the goals of the program to its curriculum, from its assessment and evaluation methods to the competency of the faculty members. In this way, the Program has been reaccredited for ten-year, the longest accreditation duration granted by CEA.

Aiming to highlight the high quality of language programs and to promote excellence in language education, CEA accreditation is the only accreditation recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA) in the field of English language education.

CEA accreditation guarantees that the accredited program or institution provides the services it promises to its students; is student-centered; acts in accordance with its mission; and has the resources, fiscal and human, to provide its students services that are in compliance with CEA Standards. In addition to guaranteeing the educational quality of the program, CEA accreditation also aims to ensure the continuance of the quality standards.
