Important Announcement Regarding Our Genetics and Bioengineering Program

updated at: published at:

Dear Students of the Genetics and Bioengineering Program,

As part of the restructuring of our department, the name of our program has been updated to “Molecular Biology and Genetics.”

In this process, the academic rights, curriculum, and graduation requirements of our current students will be fully preserved. All students currently enrolled in the program will continue their studies under the curriculum and academic conditions in effect at the time of their enrollment and will continue to graduate with a “Genetics and Bioengineering” diploma. This program change will not affect current students’ study plans, academic status, or graduation processes.

In addition, as of the 2026–2027 Academic Year, the Genetics and Bioengineering Program will no longer admit new students.

To answer all your questions regarding this process, listen to your views, and share information transparently, we are planning to meet with you together with our academic staff and Faculty administration. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM in Room E3-101.

Your participation is important to us.

Kind regards,

Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences
