How to register for Resit Examinations?
If you have been assigned a Resit Examination, for a particular course you must click the "I want to register for the [....] Resit Examination" box below that course on the "View Grades" page to register for the Resit Examination of that particular course.

If you do not want to take the Resit Examination click the "I do not want to register for the [....] Resit Examination" box.


Resit Examinations and Course Registration
o    Students who have the right for one or more Resit Exam at the end of the fall semester and who have indicated that they want to take any of the Resit Examinations by clicking the “I want to register for the Resit Examination” option will register for their spring semester courses in the ‘Late Academic Registration Period’ as specified in the Academic Calendar.

o    Students who have the right for one or more Resit Exam at the end of the fall semester and who have indicated that they do not want to take any of the Resit Examinations by clicking the “I do not want to register for the Resit Examination” option for all the courses with the resit examination will register for their spring semester courses in the ‘Academic Registration Period’ as specified in the Academic Calendar.

 o    Students who fail to click one of the two options for the Resit Examinations at the end of the fall semester are scheduled for that particular Resit Examination and they will register for their spring semester courses in the ‘Late Academic Registration Period’ as specified in the Academic Calendar.

Grading
The grade received after the Resit Exams will be the letter grade of that particular course. However if those who pass the course with a grade pass on probation (C-,D+,D) and have the right to a resit exam,  mark “I will enter the exam” and do not show up in the exam, or do not mark at all and do not show up in the exam, the letter grade for that course will be left as before (pass on probation).
