Calling all Thinkers, Doers, and Creators

We’re looking for students, graduates and faculty who’ve built or led projects and businesses with a clear record of driving social progress in your neighborhoods, cities and countries to participate in Laureate’s signature Here for Good project. The project documents the powerful work our network is doing around the world everyday.

Generate awareness about your project! We’re looking for innovators -- social entrepreneurs, first-generation college students or graduates, and faculty. Apply to appear in the Here For Good journal, and video. You can view last year’s report at: j.mp/hereforgood

To apply, submit:

Essay:
800 words max, answering these questions:
What is the big idea behind your project? What was the inspiration for the project?
How has your project improved your neighborhood, city, nation, or the world?
What are some specific ways you measure impact – the number of people helped, the size of your staff, or even your budget, or grants issued?

Photos:
Submit a headshot along with photos and videos showing the impact of your project.

Website:
Please send us the link to the website that describes the project. If you don’t have a website, that’s OK.

By Monday, December 1, 2014, send your completed proposals to Craig Lundsten, Executive Director of Global Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at craig.lundsten@laureate.net. Finalists will be notified by e-mail and invited for a follow-up interview.
