Change in the exam dates-places of English Preparatory Program

Dear English Preparatory Program Students,

Due to a technical problem that occurred on 11 January 2016 on the Kuştepe campus, classes had to be postponed until Monday, 18 January 2016 in order to fix the problem. However, because repairs are ongoing and have not been finalized yet, it will not be possible to hold classes on the Kuştepe campus for some while longer. Planning is being done about the curriculum and the exam dates and locations so that not a single student is affected adversely.  

All planned lessons and common quizzes planned for the rest of this term have been canceled. The curriculum for the next term will be prepared by taking the content of the canceled lessons into consideration.  

The spoken and written components of the End of Term Level Achievement Tests scheduled for 22-26 January, 2016 on the Kuştepe campus will now be held between 20-22 January, 2016 on the santralistanbul and Dolapdere campuses. Because the end of term level achievement tests have to be held on the santralistanbul and Dolapdere campuses and since there will be undergraduate make up examinations held on these campuses during the originally scheduled examination dates and the fact that there are not enough classrooms, the dates for the end of term level achievement tests have been rescheduled to an earlier date.  

Students will be responsible for material covered in the curriculum up until the end of Week 6/11 January 2016. Necessary changes in the content of the exams will be made and the assessment of the examinations will also be done by taking this factor into consideration. 

Information about the exam dates, the campus you will be taking the exam on, class location and times will be announced on your student pages as soon as possible.  It is very important you take note of the campus you will be taking the exam on in order to be at the right place at the designated time. The exam lists will also be posted on panels at the campuses on the days of the exams. The support units (Preparatory Program Student Affairs Office, etc.) will be present on the santralistanbul and Dolapdere campuses on the days of the exams.
