Certification Ceremonies at BİLGİ School of Tourism and Hospitality

Students of BİLGİ Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department and also Tourism and Hotel Management Department have been granted with various certificates following an intensive but fruitful Spring term. 

The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts produced its first ever graduates from its bachelor program and those who passed a special exam got their Kendall College International Diploma in Culinary Arts from Acting Rector Prof. Ege Yazgan at the graduation ceremony on July 8, 2017. 

Students who successfully passed the “THM 201-Applied Lodging Operations” course, which was launched for the first time under the BİLGİ Tourism and Hotel Management Program in order to familiarize the students with the hands-on hospitality experience in actual professional settings, received their achievement certificates from Mr Ahmet Arslan, General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul Golden Horn, and Pınar Kartal Timer, General Manager of Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah

The students who acquired the computer skills for Sabre, a leading global distribution system rapidly emerging in Turkey, within the scope of the “THM-272 Travel Technologies” course were presented their achievement certificates by Altuğ Bekdemir, General Manager of Sabre Turkey.
