Call for Jean Monnet Student Workshop

İstanbul Bilgi University Jean Monnet Chair of European Union Political and Administrative Studies invites 4th year BA students, MA students and PhD students studying social sciences in the fields of European Studies, Politics, International Relations, Anthropology, Sociology, Cultural Studies and Translation Studies to submit their academic paper proposals on the following topics relating to European Studies: EU-Turkey relations, EU governance and administration, EU foreign policy and actorness, and Europeanisation.

After the selection of the proposals, the Jean Monnet Chair wil organize a one-day workshop at İstanbul Bilgi University with the participation of both academics and selected students who will present their works. Selected papers will be published on the website of the Jean Monnet Chair and the European Institute; and will be considered for publication in an edited book.

This workshop will be designed in the form of a round-table discussion where undergraduate and postgraduate students coming from İstanbul Bilgi University and other Universities in Istanbul will gather to discuss the papers with the participation of academic experts on these issues.

The workshop will be held under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Senem Aydın-Düzgit, the Jean Monnet Chair of European Union Political and Administrative Studies at İstanbul Bilgi University. The Call for Papers is open to all international and Erasmus students.
