ENTECH '16 / IV. International Energy Technologies Conference
ENTECH '16 / IV. International Energy Technologies Conference will be held on December 15-16, 2016 at Nippon Meeting Halls in Istanbul. The conference is coordinated by DAKAM (Eastern Mediterranean Academic Research Center) and will be organized by BILSAS (Science, Art, Sport Productions).
Energy is of vital importance to any society today and the future of energy needs to be sustainable in terms of environment and climate as crucial changes are to inevitably happen. The discussions encompass natural scientific research, engineering and even social sciences, systems solutions and global politics. The future of global energy supply has to be addressed with objectivity and competence. Only an interdisciplinary approach would have the potential to optimize the necessary cooperation and communication in energy research, development and the support for industrial innovation. KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Istanbul Bilgi University Head of Energy System Engineering Departmant, Prof.Dr. Ali Nezihi Bilge is a keynote speaker in this conference.
Prof. Dr. Ali Nezihi Bilge
He graduated from the Department of Chemistry in Middle East Technical University; then, he got his MS and PhD degrees from the Departmant of Nuclear Energy in Manchester Salford University in England supported by United Nations scholarship. After he got the PhD degree, he took charge in Çekmece Nuclear Research and Training Center as ‘Deputy Manager’ and ‘Director’ for eight years. He became an associate professor in 1980 and he became full professor in the field of Nuclear Technology in 1986. His academic career continued in Bogazici University for a while. After he completed this duty, he took charge in Istanbul Technical University Nuclear Energy Institute as the head of the department and director of the institute. He was also assigned in TUBITAK Marmara Research Center as an advisor and the head of the section.
