Every year, one project from each department is awarded as “Best Senior Design Project” by Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences in İstanbul Bilgi University. Tiyodora Akbulut and Cansu Uygun have received the Best Senior Design Project Award of Department of Genetics and Bioengineering with their project titled “Targeting the Interactions Between Immune Checkpoint Receptors and their Ligands”. The ceremony took place on 12th July 2018.
