Applicants are expected to upload a project/thesis proposal, which they wish to develop and carry out as part of the program, to the system with their application form.

Proposals should describe the general structure, artistic or theoretical points of departure of the project/thesis, and the reasons as to why the applicant would like to carry out this project/thesis. Project/thesis proposal should not exceed 500 words, be written in English, and include 5 sources/references and 5 keywords.

As sources/references, applicants submitting project proposals can provide links to those works from which their proposed feature-length scenario or short film project derives inspiration or to their own works. Applicants submitting thesis proposals can use previously written academic theses on the subject that they want to focus on, scholarly works explicating the theoretical framework, and the films they would like to examine as sources. The keywords that will be provided for project/thesis proposals should be considered as words that will allow one to access this project or thesis on search engines.

Applicants can contact the Program Director Ayşegül Kesirli Unur for their questions regarding project/thesis proposals via aysegul.unur@bilgi.edu.tr
