Graduate English Exam (BİLET3)
BİLGİ Graduate English Exam (BİLET3) is conducted for applicants and students who do not have English proficiency test score. Only master program candidates and BİLGİ graduate students can take the exam. Regarding to the rules of High Education Council (YÖK), BİLET3 exam scores aren’t accepted for PhD programs.
Candidates and students have the right to take the exam maximum three times a year. Those who score between 60 and 70 as a result of the exam get the right to the second exam immediately; those who score 59 and below can use the second examination after two months.
It’s expected to follow these stages from the candidates who are willing to take the exam:
- Candidates who do not have English language proficiency score*, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and set the appropriate date and time for exam.
- Candidates takes the exam via Zoom.
- Result of exam will be shared with candidate via email in average 3 work days.
Exam information: Exam consist of 3 sections as Listening, Reading and Language Use(Grammar). It will be given 50 minutes for 3 sections.
Listening: Consists of multiple choice 20 questions, recommended duration is approximately 15 minutes.
Reading: Consists of 20 multiple choice questions, recommended duration is approximately 20 minutes.
Language Use: Consists of 30 questions, recommended duration is approximately 15 minutes.

* Only TOEFL exam score is accepted as an English proficiency exam for foreign students. IELTS or other tests & certificates are not accepted. Candidates who do not have TOEFL score can attend BİLET3.
