Program Structure

The Master of Arts Program in Cultural Studies is a two-year graduate programme. The first two semesters are devoted to courses preferably (totalling 7 courses and 2 non-credit courses: academic writing and research seminar). The students must pass the non-credit courses before they proceed to the thesis stage. In the next two semesters students take thesis courses, then prepare and defend their MA theses.

Courses are conducted on weekdays, between the hours of 15:00-18:00 and 19:00-22:00. Students who enrol in cross-listed courses from undergraduate programmes are obliged to attend the courses at the times specified for undergraduates. Such courses will include extended reading materials, separate exams and assignments for graduate students.

Students are supposed to write their theses in English.
