About

Oral and dental health problems, particularly dental caries, tooth loss, and periodontal diseases, continue to be an important area of healthcare in society. Therefore, services aimed at the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of oral and dental health problems are developing, and the need for qualified healthcare professionals in the field of dentistry is increasing.

Oral and Dental Health technicians and Dental Prosthetics technicians, who work together with dentists, play an important role in the effective and safe delivery of dental services. While Oral and Dental Health technicians support dentists in clinical processes, Dental Prosthetics technicians take part in the laboratory stages of applications such as fixed and removable prostheses, implant-supported prostheses, orthodontic appliances, interocclusal appliances, and maxillofacial prostheses. In addition to traditional practices, the increasing use of digital dentistry, CAD/CAM systems, and three-dimensional production technologies has made it even more important to train technicians with up-to-date knowledge and skills in this field.

With its qualified academic staff, practice-oriented education approach, and well-equipped laboratory facilities, our Department of Dentistry Services aims to train Oral and Dental Health Technicians and Dental Prosthetics Technicians who have strong professional knowledge and skills, adopt ethical and quality standards, and are able to adapt to current technologies.
