Internship Opportunities

Internship is an essential part of tourism and hospitality education, where practice makes the conceptual and applied fundamentals perfect. At the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, we make sure to provide the students with quality and diverse placement options through our active representations within the industry networks. To graduate from Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, the students have to complete 120 working days of internship with 12 credits in total. Regarding internship, the intern has the following responsibilities:

• To read the Internship Instructions of Tourism and Hotel Management Bachelor Program of İstanbul Bilgi University (in Turkish).
• To find a proper institution mentioned in the Internship Instructions and fill in the Internship Acceptance Form (in Turkish) and submit it to the instructor at least 10 working days before the starting day of internship.
  (The students who are full-time employee are exempt from internship application forms. These students have to give in their service scheme and upload an essay to the system between 750-1.500 words that includes job description, the works done and positive/negative things you experienced during the internship).
• To give in the documents required at the end of the internship (Internship Report and Intern Evaluation Form (in Turkish)) to the instructor; upload an essay to the system between 750-1.500 words that includes job description, the works done and positive/negative things you experienced during the internship).
