about program
The digital game industry is a rapidly growing creative sector that brings together software, design, artificial intelligence, and interactive media technologies. The Game Development and Programming associate degree program aims to meet the demand for qualified professionals in this field by training individuals who are technically equipped in areas such as game engines, programming, game mathematics, and user experience, and who possess both strong technical and creative skills.
Within the program, students receive hands-on training with widely used programming languages in the industry, as well as game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine. In addition, they gain competencies in game design, character modeling, scenario development, mobile game development, and 2D and 3D graphic design.
Game development is not limited to the entertainment industry; it has also become an effective tool in fields such as education, healthcare, and defense. Thanks to this versatile structure, graduates can work in game studios, software companies, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) projects, or establish their own ventures in the industry.
After completing the two-year education period, students who wish may continue their academic careers by transferring to bachelor’s degree programs through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). The Game Development and Programming program is an ideal choice for students who want to take part in the future of the gaming world by combining technology and art.
