- The conference will feature a variety of social events, including a welcome reception, conference dinner, and a special screening of the film Don’t Let Them Shoot the Kite (1989), written by Prof. Feride Çiçekoğlu and newly restored by MUBI. A post-screening discussion with Prof. Çiçekoğlu will offer insights into the restoration process and the film's enduring relevance.
