Emeritus Prof. Feride Çiçekoğlu receives the Cinema Labor Award at the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival

At the 62nd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, which met with film enthusiasts this year under the theme “From the Heart,” the Cinema Labor Award was presented to Emeritus Prof. Feride Çiçekoğlu.

Presented since 2006 as a non-competitive award within the festival, the Cinema Labor Award honors individuals who have made significant contributions behind the camera and have stood out with their distinguished work in Turkish cinema.

The award was presented to Çiçekoğlu at the festival’s opening ceremony, following the screening of a film portraying her life and cinematic journey. Having previously received the Best Screenplay Award in 1989 for Don’t Let Them Shoot the Kite and the Cahide Sonku Award in 2021, Çiçekoğlu has now been honored for the third time at the Golden Orange Film Festival.
