Our Faculties of Law, Communication, Architecture, and Social Sciences and Humanities have received the “Accessibility in Education Award” at the 2025 Barrier-Free University Awards organized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and have been granted the “Green Flag”.
The Barrier-Free University Awards have been organized by the Council of Higher Education since 2018 with the aim of raising awareness and promoting best practices regarding the access of individuals with special needs to campus facilities as well as to educational and sociocultural activities.
In this year’s Barrier-Free University Awards, where a total of 1,768 applications from 112 universities were evaluated, our University ranked among the 21 universities granted the “Green Flag”.
