Our Textile and Fashion Design Department students developed projects for Derimod within a branded course
Within the scope of the branded course titled “Fashion Start-up” offered by Department of Textile and Fashion Design, our students developed their final-term projects for Derimod.
Students chose one of the topics “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Fashion Marketing” or “Marketing Communication Strategy” and their projects were evaluated in a competition held as part of the course. Among our students, Doğa Bayındır won first place, Tutku Yavuz came in second, and Cemre Nur Kazandıvatan placed third. The winning students gained internship opportunity at Derimod.
The course, conducted by our faculty member Evrim Büyükaslan Oosterom, PhD, also hosted Derimod executives, including Human and Culture Director Metin Usta, E-commerce Director Uğur Kargı, and Retail Director Tarık Tekden, who shared their professional experiences with students and contributed to the development and evaluation of the projects.
