Our Opticianry Program conducted a vision screening for children in Hatay

As part of the project titled “A Bright Life with Preventable Blindness,” led by our Opticianry Program, a vision screening for children was carried out at Gümüşgöze Primary School in the Defne district of Hatay.

With contributions from our Opticianry Program students, the initiative aimed to identify visual impairments in children through early diagnosis. The findings from the screenings were recorded and shared with relevant healthcare units. As part of the project, eye health training workshops were also organized at the school.

The project is carried out in collaboration with Üsküdar University, Muş Alparslan University, the Turkish Red Crescent, Miyop-Der, and Myopi Academy.
