Our Department of Industrial Design carried out a collaboration with Beko as part of the course “ID 301 Industrial Design Studio III: Electrical Home Appliances.”

In the studio course led by faculty member Yasemin Soylu, PhD, Rana İmam Esirger, Umut Pulat, and Özgür Mutlu Öz, students developed next-generation cleaning solutions for the Arçelik brand under the theme of “Home Cleaning.” In addition to physical product design, the projects also focused on creating smart digital user experiences.

The projects were conducted under the mentorship of experts from various departments at Beko. Özgür Mutlu Öz, Can Arer, Hakan Çolak, Elif Altay, and Simge Erküt from Beko shared their knowledge and professional experience with the students throughout the semester.
